With more than two thousand activities scheduled and the presence of Madrid as Guest of Honor, the International Book Fair of Guadalajara comes to an end with the attendance of almost 815 thousand visitors
After nine days and with more than two thousand activities in its program, the International Book Fair of Guadalajara, recognized as the most important meeting of the book in Spanish in the world, reaches the end of its thirty-first edition. As every year, the preliminary balance is positive: in this edition, and with the last day of activities ahead, the Fair has visited almost 815 thousand visitors, which is proof of its growth.
One of the favorite spaces for visitors, FIL Niños, it was reported that this year was attended by 185 thousand 400 attendees, who participated in the workshops that had the theme “Under suspicion”, and were dedicated to literature of detectives.
Raúl Padilla López, president of FIL Guadalajara, highlighted the presence of the 20,748 professionals of the book who gathered to participate in the activities for professionals and the Rights Fair Hall.
